We’re accepting submissions for a number of exhibits making their debut at the next Quilt Festival in Chicago, taking place April 6-8, 2017.
This includes a new judged competition, awarding four prizes totaling $8,000 (including a $5,000 Best of Show)! Also, exhibits featuring traditional quilts, Modern works, Hexagons, and scrap quilts, the latter of which is being juried by our very own Quilt Scout, Mary Fons.
So, even if you can’t make it to this year’s Chicago show, we hope your quilts can make an appearance!

A CELEBRATION OF COLOR
This brand new judged competition for Chicago includes a $5,000 Best of Show Award, as well as $1,000 First Place prizes in three categories: Traditional, Art, and Modern.
The competition is open to all quilters—working in any style and using any techniques. Simply create or submit work that you feel truly celebrates color…whatever that might mean to you!
This exhibit will showcase traditional quilts and their makers, and is open to any quilter in the midwest states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Ontario.
One of our most popular exhibits at last year’s Quilt Festival in Chicago, Mod Squad Quilts will once again spotlight quilts from Modern quilters residing in the Midwest.
Any quilter residing in the Midwest states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, or the Canadian provinces of Manitoba or Ontario is invited to submit up to two works. More info at: http://www.callforentriesmodsquad.com/
