No-Heat Sweets

We’re accepting submissions for a number of exhibits making their debut at the next Quilt Festival in Chicago, taking place April 6-8, 2017.

This includes a new judged competition, awarding four prizes totaling $8,000 (including a $5,000 Best of Show)! Also, exhibits featuring traditional quilts, Modern works, Hexagons, and scrap quilts, the latter of which is being juried by our very own Quilt Scout, Mary Fons.

So, even if you can’t make it to this year’s Chicago show, we hope your quilts can make an appearance!

A CELEBRATION OF COLOR

This brand new judged competition for Chicago includes a $5,000 Best of Show Award, as well as $1,000 First Place prizes in three categories: Traditional, Art, and Modern.

The competition is open to all quilters—working in any style and using any techniques. Simply create or submit work that you feel truly celebrates color…whatever that might mean to you!

Entrants can submit up to two works for consideration. And the winners will be announced during Quilt Festival in Chicago. More info at: http://www.callforentriescolor.com/

BEAUTY IN PIECES-SCRAP QUILTS FOR

THE 21ST CENTURY

We’re seeking scrap quilts—the unique, colorful, often overlooked beauties that they are—for an exhibit to be juried by quilting personality, quilter, and scrap quilt aficionado, Mary Fons!

You’re invited to submit up to two scrap quilts for consideration, a minimum of 60 inches wide, and made between January 2014 and the present. More info at: http://www.callforentriesbeauty.com/

THE HEXAGON REVOLUTION

Entries for this exhibit must be based on the book, The New Hexagon: 52 Blocks to English Paper Piece by Katja Marek and/or The New Hexagon Millefiore Quilt-Along.

Entrants may submit up to three quilts, at least 50 inches on each side. More information at: http://www.callforentrieshexagon.com/

TRADITIONAL MIDWEST AND

CANADIAN QUILTS
