See Your Work at Quilt Festival!

We display thousands of quilts at our shows each year as part of numerous different special exhibits—both those “on loan” to us, and those we organize, jury, and curate in house.

These quilts vary greatly in terms of overall style, design, techniques, and craftsmanship. And the number of submissions we get for each of the calls of entry we put forth varies just as much—some may receive hundreds, while others much less.

It always surprises us to hear (or read) someone say that they don’t feel their work is “good enough” for one of our exhibits (how would you know if you never entered?). Or that they “only create quilts for fun” (as if that should discourage them from entering them into a show). We believe the “fun” is only enhanced by knowing that tens of thousands of people get to see and enjoy your work on display at Quilt Festival!

So, we would like to encourage you—yes, each of you, our dear readers—to consider entering one of your quilts in one of this year’s many International Quilt Festival exhibits. And no matter what style it is in which you work, we feel sure we have an exhibit to fit!

The following exhibits have either an open call for entry (meaning you can submit information online now) or will be open for registration in the next few months.
